From January 8 to 12, 2024, the Department of Public Health held a winter school for 3rd and 4th year students of the specialty OZ, on the theme of the concept of “One Health”. At the winter school, the teachers of the department gave lectures and conducted various trainings. On the first day, Bayan Bolatkalievna Orazaeva presented a lecture “The harm of plastic waste to the body.” On the second day, the lecture “Food safety” was delivered by associate professor of the department, Tokesheva Sholpan Manarbekovna. On the third day, the lecturer of the department, Iskakova Nazym Serikanovna presented a lecture and interesting training games on the topic “Antimicrobial resistance: the perspective of “One health” in the field of healthcare.” In addition, lectures on the topics of the pandemic and brucellosis were presented. On the last day, feedback from students was conducted and certificates were awarded.
