Organizer: assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A. The purpose of visiting the Abai Museum is to form students’ civic and patriotic qualities, broaden their horizons and foster cognitive interests and abilities.
The Abai Museum is one of the most popular attractions in the city. The best museum in the city.
The museum has more than 21,000 valuable and important exhibits. The first three halls feature the exhibition “Abai and his time”, thanks to which you can get acquainted with the era of the outstanding poet. Here you can read information about his exiled friends and see a portrait of the famous writer made in pencil. Another part of the exposition is devoted to Abai’s creative activities. Among the exhibits there are works of the poet in various languages, including Oriental, as well as manuscripts donated to the museum by the poet’s relatives. Creativity occupied an important part in Abai’s life, which is vividly reflected in every hall of the museum. Abai’s famous work was the prose poem “Kara soz” (translated into Russian as “Words of Edification”), consisting of 45 short parables or philosophical treatises. These “Edifications” raise the problems of history, pedagogy, morality and law of ethnic Kazakhs. Abai’s works have not lost their relevance for more than a century. They still serve as spiritual food for all of us. The poet’s rich creative heritage is the heritage of the Kazakh people and all mankind.
The students have become spiritually enriched, because Abai teaches that the basis of everything on earth, including for science, is humanity, humanity.[/vc_column_text]
