Interns’ participation in the round table

Interns’ participation in the round table

Vaccination is one of the most effective preventive measures. However, recently many people, including parents, have refused vaccination, citing various reasons. To convince parents, it is necessary to constantly carry out explanatory work. On February 1, a round table was held at polyclinic No. 2 with parents who refuse to carry out preventive vaccinations for children. The round table was attended by interns of 611 groups engaged in the cycle “Infectious diseases”. Together with the teacher, the interns told their parents what vaccination is, what diseases it is carried out for, indications and contraindications, myths about vaccination, etc. They gave comprehensive answers to all the parents’ questions. Participation in the round table allows interns to develop competencies such as theoretical knowledge, communication skills, health advocate and others
