On February 1, 2024, as part of the сlinicalist school, second-year resident physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Toluegazinova A.A. and Myrzekenova T.E., under the guidance of the head of the department of general medical practice, associate professor of medical sciences professor Duysupova A.A., and the candidate of medical sciences acting as an associate professor, Adilgozhina S.M., conducted an online conference for 6th-7th year medical interns on the topic: “Rheumatoid arthritis in family medicine practice”. The conference addressed diagnostic criteria for rheumatoid arthritis, markers of poor prognosis, and modern treatment methods. Various clinical situations with photographs of extra-articular and articular lesions in rheumatoid arthritis were discussed. Special attention was paid to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in pregnant women. Various X-ray images showing joint lesions were presented to identify the stage of rheumatoid arthritis. An assessment of functional capacity was conducted using the Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) for patients. Feedback was received from the medical interns at the end of the conference.[/vc_column_text]
