The Department of Dental Disciplines and MS under the direction of D.M. Suleimeneva organized and held a “Problems of Dentistry” Winter School. 18 students dental students of 2-5 courses were enrolled.

Thematic plan, syllabus and a list of participants were prepared by the department staff for the event. The information about the winter school was posted on the university website and other sources.

Preliminary analysis of the summer and winter exam sessions results revealed a lack of knowledge of some complex and poorly mastered topics of different disciplines of dentistry. The thematic plan of classes and lectures was made according to these problematic issues and topics selected as a result of analyzing the results of the session and feedback from students. Every day the faculty members of the department gave lectures, conducted classes, consultations, explained complex issues of problematic topics. The students were provided with video lectures, lecture material. All participants attended and worked actively every day.

In the International Dentist’s Day, which is celebrated annually, on February 9 participants were congratulated and awarded with certificates of the Winter School “Problems of Dentistry”.
