February 9-10, 2024 in schools of the Kokpektinsky district of the Abay region by the methodologist of the admissions committee S.A.Kaigeldinova and teacher of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics D.Zh.Galymbekov career guidance work was carried out.
During the work, students were presented with a presentation “Semey Medical University” NCJSC with complete information about the training of specialists in 7 areas, the admission procedure for undergraduate studies, passing scores, and the dynamic infrastructural development of the medical university.
The students showed a keen interest in the information provided, actively participated in the conversation, asked questions about the acceptance of documents, terms of study, grants, the possibility of transferring from paid education to a grant, scholarships, the provision of a hostel, the amount of payment, etc. to which they received comprehensive answers.
During the career guidance work, in addition to the presentation, a video clip about the achievements of the Semey Medical University, NCJSC was shown. Each student learned the handouts.
