An emergency situation can happen to anyone and anywhere – on the street, at work, at school, at university. And the fate of the victim is often decided in the first minutes – before the arrival of an ambulance. As a rule, familiar people, friends or passers-by turn out to be nearby. The main thing is not to get lost and know how to help a person. And in this case, without first aid, the victim may not have a chance.
On February 12, 2024, a master class on first aid training for victims was held at the KSU “Economic Lyceum” of the Semey Department of Education of the Abai region. The organizer was the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”. interns of the 719 group of the GM. The master class was attended by students of grades 8-11, kazakh and russian languages of instruction. Initially, interns introduced students to the types of injuries, the relevance of childhood injuries, and prevention. The head of the department, PhD, Associate Professor D.A. Mukanova, gave information about the role of vitamin D on the human body. Teachers of the department, PhD Mukanova D.A., Smagulova Zh.I., Van O.T., interns demonstrated practical skills in first aid for injuries, airway obstruction, cardiac arrest (basic resuscitation).
