On February 26, 2024, the next School of Preventive Medicine was held at the Department of General Medical Practice in Semey NCJSC “SMU”. The school is dedicated to 6th and 7th year GP interns studying at the department. The meeting was dedicated to IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
Today, the problem of gastrointestinal tract disorders is widespread among the population. However, public awareness of the factors contributing to the formation of these conditions, as well as the first symptoms indicating a high risk of developing such a pathology, remains clearly insufficient. At the same time, early detection of symptoms, timely consultation with a doctor and implementation of measures can prevent the development of severe forms of the disease and its complications. Using the knowledge gained, interns regularly conduct preventive conversations with the population dedicated to the prevention of IBS.
Interns from group 715 of GPs (general practitioners) were involved in the preparation of the School. The school was organized under the leadership of the head of the department of General Medical Practice in Semey NCJSC “SMU” Dyusupova A.A., teachers of the department Terekhova T.I., Faizova R.I., Belyaeva T.M., Kamasheva G.T.
