Winter school of nephrologists at the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology

In order to improve the training of residency students in specialty 7R01151 “Adult and Pediatric Nephrology,” a winter school of nephrologists was held online at the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. From 12 to 17.02.24 head department Kaskabaeva A.Sh., assistant Botabaeva A.S., with the associate professor of the department of pediatric anesthesiology, intensive care and emergency medicine of the NCJSC MUA Kokoshko A.I. A training seminar was held on the topic: “Basics of renal replacement therapy.”

One of the important and financially expensive areas of nephrology is kidney replacement therapy (RRT). Residents were presented with topics on the types of RRT, indications and contraindications for RRT, technical aspects of dialysis therapy, the general concept of bioimpedansometry, the principles of diet therapy for chronic kidney disease, and the main complications of RRT. During the winter school, residents of the 1st year of study became familiar with this section of nephrology for the first time, and residents of the 2nd year acquired additional knowledge.[/vc_column_text]
