From February 19 to March 2, 2024, the Week of Sports Games was held at the foreign department of Semey Medical University. 185 students from 1st to 5th year took part in men’s and women’s teams. Competitions were held in several sports: volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, tug of war. Participants in sports games – students of the foreign department – demonstrated the diversity of their talents. Series of qualifying games were taking place during 6 days, as a result of which the participants in the final games were determined.

On March 2, 2024, the final stage of the tournament took place. Today the ceremony of awarding the winners with memorable prizes took place. All participants in the sporting event were awarded certificates.

A lot of organizational work was carried out by the Student Government of the foreign department with the direct participation of the Sports Club, the School of Working with Foreign Students and the Department of Physical Education. Many thanks are expressed to the management of NJSC “SMU” for the opportunity and support in organizing and conducting the Week of Sports Games.
