Volunteer work of a resident in Pavlodar

The Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology continues to attract students to volunteer work during extracurricular hours. While completing a cycle in nutritional science under the guidance of academic mentor Professor Zhumadilova Z.K. resident of 2 years of study in the specialty “Gastroenterology for adults, children” of the city of Pavlodar Amanzholova G.E. visited the “Family-type children’s village of the city of Pavlodar”. Having previously discussed the purpose of the visit with the director, a meeting with the children was planned.

The director of this institution advised to bring books to the children in order to develop children’s motivation to read and revive their interest in reading. Reading children are happiness for teachers and educators. Reading has a huge impact on a child’s development. The books “Pollyanna”, “Mary Poppins”, “Cosmos”, “The Human Body”, fairy tales, and educational games were donated. You should have seen the happy eyes of the children! The shelf in the book corner has been replenished with new items. Thanks to the books, a common topic of conversation arose and at the end of the meeting I congratulated the children on the upcoming Nauryz holiday. I received feedback with words of gratitude from the children and the administration of the institution. Good deeds do not go unnoticed – they shine like beacons for those who are waiting for attention.
