On 03.16.2024, a round table on the topic was held in the House of Students № 3: «Prevention of acute respiratory viral infections».
Influenza is an acute respiratory viral infection that has a worldwide spread and affects all age groups of people.
Influenza and SARS account for 95% of all infectious diseases.
The only source and distributor of infection is a sick person. The main way of spreading influenza viruses from person to person is considered to be airborne infection by talking, coughing, sneezing.
Prevention of acute respiratory viral infections:
- Specific – routine vaccination of the population;
- Nonspecific – when hardening, adaptogenic drugs, and vitamins are used to reduce the risk of infection.
The students asked questions and actively participated in the round table.
