03/14/24 At the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, a round table was held on the topic: “School of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)”, dedicated to World Kidney Day. The meeting was attended by: Head department Kaskabaeva A.Sh., associate professors Alibekova R.I., Kapanova G.K., Muzdubaeva Zh.A., ass. Kozhakhmetova D.K., Botabaeva A.S., regional director of BBNura, nephrologist of the highest category Azimbaeva I.M., nephrology residents 1st and 2nd year of study. The round table was opened by Associate Professor of the Department Alibekova R.I., with a report on the chronological aspects of CKD, the past, present and future of renal replacement therapy. Resident nephrologists, under the guidance of department teachers, prepared reports on the topic: “The main causes of CKD. Results of a retrospective analysis of data from nephrology departments (Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk cities)”, “Apolipoprotein B as an early predictor of CKD in arterial hypertension”, “Nutritionological aspects of the treatment of CKD in the pre-dialysis stage”. The participants of the round table actively discussed the presented materials, gave positive feedback, recommended developing a preventive school for CKD, actively introducing it into everyday practice and conducting educational activities to work with the population.
