On March 15, 2024, teachers of the Department of Public Health Beisengazina M.B. and Tokesheva Sh.M. together with curatorial groups of public health specialties (401, 301, 201 groups) held an event dedicated to Nauryz -meiramy.

In lecture hall No. 4 of dormitory No. 3, a festive dastarkhan was set with Kazakh national dishes: beshbarmak, baursaks, kurt, irimshik, kumis, etc., as well as the main ritual treat – nauryz-kozhe. A student of the 401 group, Ashimova E., presented the presentation “Nauryz meiramy”. Each group presented one of the dishes, as well as a national custom or tradition. The festive atmosphere of the event was supported by the beautiful national costumes of those present, as well as Kazakh folk songs and dombra melodies.

The bright holiday Nauryz is a symbol of renewal, the birth of a new life, new opportunities, symbolizes fertility, friendship and love, embodying the true values and traditions of the Kazakh people.
