03.17.2024 tutors of the foreign department Kovaleva L.V., Usenova O.A. (teachers of the department of physiological disciplines), Wan O.T. (teacher of Simulation and educational technologies department), Shakirova B.T. (teacher of GED department) together with students from curatorial groups, attended a city event dedicated to the traditional Russian holiday “Maslenitsa”.

The holiday represents the farewell of winter and the welcoming of spring, the awakening of nature after a long winter sleep. The festive program included a concert, games, and competitions. The guys got acquainted with the Russian national costume, folk songs, and tried the traditional dish for this holiday – pancakes. Of particular interest was the arm wrestling competition with local guys. A group of our students took part in a concert with national Indian dance. A special impression was caused by the burning of the effigy of winter with notes in which the guys wrote everything they would like to part with in the new year.
