On March 29, 2024, a job fair was held in the health department of the East Kazakhstan region with the participation of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of the Semey Medical University, NCJSC. The fair was attended by representatives of city hospitals and district hospitals in Shemonaiha, Ulan, Glubokoe and Serebryansk. The doctors shared useful information with the students and exchanged contact numbers, some even considered signing a contract. Deputy Dean Aimukhambetov Erzat Nursadykovich spoke about the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch.
The Ust-Kamenogorsk branch told that compared to 2018, the number of graduates has doubled today, and there are graduates who work in hospitals in Ust-Kamenogorsk. To date, such specialties as clinical pharmacology, clinical laboratory, gastro, nephrology, allergology, and cardiac surgery are additionally studied.
The branch operates under an agreement with 22 clinics. It was also noted that additional advanced training courses for doctors will be held.
