One of the key areas in the fight against terrorist and extremist manifestations in the public environment is their prevention. It is especially important to carry out such preventive work among young people, since it is this environment, due to a number of different factors, that is one of the most vulnerable in terms of exposure to the negative influence of various antisocial and criminal groups.

Aim: to inform young people about measures to prevent religious extremism and terrorism, the formation of patriotic education.

On April 4, 2024, at the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases, assistant Tugelbayeva A.M. a class was held with the tutor group 3302 «Pediatrics» on the topic: «Prevention of terrorism and extremism among young people» An informational film about the fight against extremism and terrorism was prepared for the curator’s hour. The causes and conditions that give rise to religious extremism, threats posed by radical groups, the danger of extremist ideology and its driving forces, recruitment and involvement of citizens in destructive movements were also analyzed.
