During the period from March 28 to April 4, 2024, as part of the academic mobility program at NСJSC “SMU”, an online master class was held for 1st and 2nd year residents studying in the specialty 7R01151 “Adult and pediatric nephrology”. Visiting professor – Elena Borisovna Klester, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology, Altai State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

During the master class, the professor highlighted the current provisions of the KDIGO recommendations on glomerular diseases, diagnostic criteria and principles of treatment of nephrotic syndrome, tubular lesions, acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.

The master class was very informative and interesting, the residents consolidated their existing knowledge and supplemented it, and most importantly, all the knowledge gained can be applied in practice.
