On April 2, 2024, 201 groups of the specialty “Public Health” with curator Beisengazina M.B. visited the main museum complex, which is part of the state historical, cultural and literary memorial museum-reserve of Abai, the poet-educator, the founder of written Kazakh literature, the Kazakh literary language, philosopher, composer, translator – Abai Kunanbayuly.

The Abai Literary Memorial Museum was founded on December 16, 1940 in the city of Semipalatinsk on the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Kazakh poet, the founder of Kazakh written literature Abai Kunanbayev. During the event, the museum’s scientific staff conducted a sightseeing tour of the expositions dedicated to the life and work of Abai. The students got acquainted with the exposition of the museum “Abai. The Seasons”, created on the basis of Abai Kunanbayuly’s poems dedicated to the seasons, visited the halls “Steppe Melody”, “Becoming a Poet”, “Abai’s Creativity”, “Abai’s Poetic School”, “Abai’s Family”, “Words of Edification”. The exposition, presented in the image of shanyrak, presents ethnographic objects. Here, the students watched the mini-theater “Bala Abai”.

The main purpose of visiting the museum was to arouse students’ interest in learning about the history of our people, in particular the story of Abai Kunanbayev, and to educate young people in a sense of patriotism and love for their country. After visiting the museum, the students got a lot of interesting and useful information for themselves.

Abai’s creativity should be in the mind of every citizen of Kazakhstan!
