Subject Olympiad of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology

Dear students, interns, residents!

 

The Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of Semey State Medical University invites students, interns, residents to take part in the subject Olympiad in psychiatry.

Participation in the Olympiad will allow you to gain deeper knowledge of psychiatry, show initiative, curiosity, creativity and evaluate your “competitiveness”.

For interns planning to enroll in a residency in the specialty “Psychiatry, including children’s”, participation in the Olympiad will be considered as submitting a resume for admission.

The organizers of the Olympiad are the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the National Academy of Sciences of the ICC.

In order to participate, you must:

  1. Send an application for participation to the email address: zhannat.sarsembina@smu.edu.kz until April 22, 2024
  2. You will receive the Olympiad assignment to your email address.
  3. Complete the proposed tasks by May 12, 2024.
  4. Send a Microsoft Word file with the completed task to e-mail by May 12, 2024: zhannat.sarsembina@smu.edu.kz
  5. The subject of the letter should contain the surname and initials of the participant, the city of residence (for example, “Akhmetov A.A., Semey).

You should receive a confirmation of receipt of the job within a week. If you have not received confirmation of receipt of the job, re-send the letter by adding the word “Copy” to the subject of the letter.

The results of the Olympiad will be published on May 19, 2024 on the department’s page

The works will be evaluated by a professional jury. Up to 10 points will be awarded for each answer. Additional points can be awarded for detailed, detailed answers for each task (not downloaded from the Internet), for additional solutions, etc.

In case of disagreement with the assessment of experts, an appeal is not provided.
