In 2024, on April 10, a seminar was held at polyclinic N6 in Semey on the topic: “Helicobacteriosis – a disease of an infectious nature.” The moderators of this seminar were interns of GP group 601, who are currently undergoing training in the discipline “Infectious diseases in adults”. The speakers reminded the seminar participants that Helicobacteriosis is an infectious disease that affects the pylorus of the stomach (pylorus) and duodenum. The causative agent of this disease is a gram-negative bacterium – Helicobacter pylori. Clinical issues, diagnostics (confirming the presence of Helicobacter pylori in the human body using modern methods) and therapy were covered. The main emphasis was placed on the prevention of Helicobacter pylori-associated gastrointestinal diseases.
