NJSC “Semey Medical University” actively conducts career guidance work with school students in the East Kazakhstan region to prepare schoolchildren for professional self-determination and choice of profession.

On 04/12/2024, university staff, represented by the methodologist of the Admissions Committee and the teacher of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raisov Galymbekov D.Zh., visited a number of schools in the Kurchum district of East Kazakhstan region.

Employees of NJSC “MUS” provided high school students with complete information about the faculties and specialties of the university. The guys showed a keen interest in medical specialties, the prospects of the medical profession, understanding that a Doctor is a person who is ready to devote himself to serving people, that he takes responsibility for the most beautiful thing in the world – human life, that the medical profession is one of the noblest, humane and necessary professions on earth.

During the meeting, consultations were given on passing the UNT, rules for admission and submission of documents to the University, educational grants, and information materials about NJSC “MUS” were distributed. School students expressed a desire to come to the University for the upcoming regional Olympiads in biology and chemistry.
