As part of the implementation of the grant project, members of the temporary research team, Head of the Department of radiology of NCJSC “SMU” Madieva M.R. and assistants of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology of NCJSC “SMU” Kanapiyanova G.B., Bersimbekova G.B. On April 12-13, 2024, we took part in the international scientific and practical conference “Women’s health in radiology”, which was held in Astana. This conference is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the scientific work of the President of the Kazakhstan Society of Radiologists, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Head of the Department of Radiology named after Academician Zh.Kh. Khamzabaeva NCJSC “MUA”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Rakhimzhanova R.I. There were a lot of interesting reports presented at the conference. The speakers were guests from Korea, Austria, Germany, England, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Russia and other countries. The reports were devoted to modern methods of diagnosing diseases and the use of artificial intelligence. The world’s leading companies presented new possibilities for medical equipment, including for the diagnosis of osteoporosis. The reports were very useful both for radiologists, for whom the latest technologies and a unified classification of pathologies were presented, as well as for gynecologists and other therapeutic and surgical specialties that are directly related to women’s health. One of these reports was a report on the topic of postmenopausal osteoporosis, which is one of the most common and dangerous diseases.
