On April 17, 2024, the senior lecturer, Lieutenant Colonel of the medical service of the reserve Matytsin A.V., held a curatorial hour in group 4421 on the topic «Academic honesty».

During the curatorial hour, the students’ attention was directed to the fact that the fundamental principle of the learning process at the NAO «Semey Medical University» is academic honesty.

Academic honesty in the educational process requires from students such qualities as integrity, mutual trust, transparency, feedback between students and teachers, respect for the rights, freedoms and equality of students, as well as knowledge of how to behave within the walls of the university, the basics of ethics, internal regulations in an educational institution.

Compliance with the rules of academic integrity and equal responsibility for their violation is the responsibility of every student.

The curatorial hour was attended by the deputy head of the military department, Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve medical service Smagulov A.T., who positively assessed the holding of this event.
