On April 11-12, 2024, students of the scientific circle of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. A. Nazarova took an active part in the annual 66th student scientific and practical conference with international participation “Science and Health”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the professor NJSC “MUS” Kakenova Panu Ilyasovna.

The department prepared 5 oral reports in the section “Basic research: the key to medical discoveries” and 2 poster reports. Abstracts have been sent for publication of a collection of conference materials.

Results of the conference:

Diploma 1st place – report “Study of the degree of adaptation of foreign students of NJSC “MUS” to a new type of nutrition in new living conditions”, 2nd year student Karpacheva A.B. , scientific supervisor: Rakhyzhanova S. Diploma 2nd place – report “Assessment of the metabolic state by BMI among 2nd year students of NJSC “MUS”” 2nd year students Muratbekova P., Khasenova A., supervisor: Rakhyzhanova S. O., candidate of medical sciences , head of department physiological disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Nazarova.

The 3  following reports received prizes in various nominations:

1. “The importance of early diagnosis and correction in children with developmental disorders of speech and mental activity.” 2 course . Kabieva D.D. Scientific supervisor: Rakhyzhanova S. O.., Head of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Nazarova.
2. “Prevalence of scoliosis among students of Semey Medical University” 2nd year students Kazhikenov A.T., Zhumabaeva M.M., Tuleubaev D.A. Scientific supervisor: Urazalina N.M. , candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department of physiological disciplines named after T.A. Nazarova.
3. “Changes in biochemical parameters during covid-19” 2nd year student A.A. Dyusupova. Scientific supervisor: Urazalina N.M. , сandidate of medical sciences, associate Professor of the department of physiological disciplines named after T.A. Nazarova.
