As part of the educational work and in order to familiarize with the main types of military equipment and weapons of the modern army of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the military department of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” Colonel m/s Orynbassarov Sh.O. and the head of the cycle Lieutenant Colonel m/s reserve Smailov N.S. with students of the military department 4115 of the specialty group “General Medicine” and 307, 309 groups of the specialty “Dentistry”, on April 17, 2024, visited the open museum of military equipment and the Garrison House of Officers of Semey city.

The open museum housed military equipment from different times: both currently in service by type (t-72b, BMP-1,2) and vintage rare weapons (IS-1, MIG-21). Also in this museum there is a memorial dedicated to the second world War, which serves as a reminder of the feat of our ancestors.

The staff of the Garrison House of Officers showed the exhibits of the museum, told about the main milestones of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The House of Officers houses the museums of military glory, established in 1997, which carries out cultural, educational, methodological and leisure activities.

The garrison house of Officers is designed to carry out cultural activities in order to meet the spiritual needs, education, enlightenment and organization of cultural leisure for military personnel and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces and their family members.

Such excursions contribute to strengthening the knowledge gained during training at the military department, as well as spiritual, cultural development, education and instilling respect for the history of our Homeland.
