Kayum Mukhamedkhanov is an outstanding countryman, the author of the first anthem of Kazakhstan, an abaiologist, poet, scientist, associate of Mukhtar Auezov, an honorary citizen of the city. It is difficult to overestimate the merits of Kayum Mukhamedkhanov before the Fatherland. He did not even spare his own freedom and health for the sake of truth in the development of Kazakh literature. His fate has absorbed the most important milestones in the history of our country. Significant events in the history of Kazakhstan are focused in his life and work.
