On January 31, 2024, a lesson was held at the “Speaking club” with students of the foreign department. The lesson was conducted by the head of the department of Anatomy, histology and topographic anatomy named after prof. N.A. Khlopov, PhD, associate professor Kozhanova Saule Keneskhanovna.

The lesson of “Speaking club for International Students” was held on April 20, 2024 with the students of the 2^nd to 5^th course of the foreign department. The lesson was conducted by the head of the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after prof. N.A. Khlopova, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Kozhanova Saule Keneskhanovna. During the lesson, the topic “Surgical Instruments” was discussed in an interactive manner, with demonstrating surgical instruments and improving knowledge of terminology related to the topic of the lesson. Students practiced naming surgical instruments in Russian, learned to hold them correctly and identify them on a stand presented at the department. Students were presented with a dictionary of terms in English and Russian, describing the classification and names of surgical instruments. At the end of the lesson, students independently described surgical instruments using terminology in Russian. All participants noted the need for such classes to develop students’ language competencies.
