On 04/29/2024, within the framework of the memorandum of international cooperation between the Andijan State Medical Institute and the NCJCS Semey Medical University, a round table was held on the topic: “Enteral viral hepatitis A and E” on the Zoom platform. The seminar was organized by the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Andijan State Medical Institute (head of the department, Associate Professor, PhD Mirzakarimova D.B.) and the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology of the NCJCS”Semey Medical University” (head of the Department, Professor, MD Shaimardanov N.K.). Interns of the GP 602 and 606 groups became participants of the event SMU, NCJCS, undergraduates, bachelors, teaching staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the ASMI and infectious diseases doctors of the Andijan Regional Clinical Hospital. Speakers of the round table resident infectious disease specialists of the 1st year of study Madrikov K., Saparzhan A., Baituganova M. (Semey), Kortaeva A., Baltabai D (Pavlodar) reported in their presentations the epidemiology of viral hepatitis A and E, clinic, diagnosis and therapy of these hepatitis.
The infectious disease residents separately focused on the peculiarities of the course of hepatitis A in adults, and the peculiarities of the course of hepatitis E in pregnant women. During the discussion, the participants of the round table discussed the basic principles of treatment of hepatitis A and E. At the end of the event, emphasis was placed on sanitary and preventive measures for hepatitis A, E and specific prevention of hepatitis A.
