1 May is the Holiday of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. Peace, harmony and unity are necessary for stable and prosperous life of the nation and ethnic groups living on the territory of Kazakhstan.

In the framework of this holiday on 29 April 2024 in the dormitory № 3 teachers of the Department of General Education disciplines was held an event on the theme “Yntymagy zharaskan tugan tugan olkem – Kazakhstan!”.

The purpose of this event was to expand, acquaint students with the culture and traditions of representatives of the people inhabiting Kazakhstan. Students groups were presented national costumes, dishes of different peoples of Kazakhstan. Together they demonstrated the richness of cultural traditions, brightly and colourfully expressing their unique customs and creative achievements. At the end of the event, students were awarded with letters of thanks and recognised in various nominations, such as “Creative group”, “Ұлы dala dami”, “Artistic group”, “Birlikteri zharasqan top” and others.       The event ended with a flash mob, which lifted the spirits of all present.
