On 04/27/2024, the 704th group of the GP specialty at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after Tusupova D.M., under the leadership of the head of the department Alimbayeva A.R., conducted sanitary and educational work on the topic “Prevention of tick-borne encephalitis” for patients of the rehabilitation center.
Interns provided data on the incidence of tick-borne encephalitis in the Republic of Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan region , on the first signs of this infectious disease , what to do when a tick is found on the body , as well as on ways to protect against infection .
This lecture was held in order to raise awareness among the patients of the rehabilitation center, because such a disease as tick-borne encephalitis is an extremely dangerous infectious disease leading to severe consequences and especially becomes relevant in
the period from April to September. The most dangerous of them are the months of May and June. Interns of the 704 group also talked about the complications of this disease . RC patients actively asked their questions about the prevention of tick-borne encephalitis.
