May 15 at the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after Professor N.A. Khlopov held an Olympiad on the module “Normal musculoskeletal system” among 1st year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics – groups 1229,1230,1231,1232,1233. Students of 2430 groups of the pediatric faculty took part in the organization of the Olympiad. Every year at the department, in order to summarize the results of studying individual modules and the discipline as a whole, morphological Olympiads are held, which increase interest and motivation of students to master the discipline, stimulate their cognitive activity and improve the quality of professional training. Participation in the process of preparing and conducting the Olympiad, in discussing its results, contributes to the creation of an educational environment in which the creative potential of students is fully realized. Intellectual activities help the comprehensive development of the student’s personality, the formation of his objective self-esteem, the acquisition of skills for independent activity and work in creative teams.
