On May 15, 2024, students of group 3103 of the specialty “General Medicine”, together with the curator of the group (Zhazykbaeva L.K.), held a curatorial hour on the topic of the 100th anniversary of the war hero, the first Minister of Defense S. Nurmagambetov and Khalyk Kakarmany R. Koshkarbaev.
It so happened that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Hero of the Soviet Union Halyk Kakarmany, the first Minister of Independent Defense of Kazakhstan, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov, as well as Halyk Kakarmany Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev, who hoisted the Victory Banner over the Reichstag.
Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov, whose name is forever inscribed in the history of Kazakhstan, was not only an outstanding military leader, but also a symbol of unbending will and patriotism. Under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he laid the foundations of the modern Armed Forces.
Lieutenant Rakymzhan Koshkarbaev and Private Grigory Bulatov were the first to sign the Reichstag agreement in Berlin on April 30, 1945 and raise the flag, and Sagadat Nurmaganbetov declared great courage in battle at the Magnuszew Pladarm in Poland on January 17, 1945.
Students became familiar with the historical facts of the Great Patriotic War and the lives of people in these difficult times. An open lesson was held at the Museum of the History of Arms and Military Equipment of the RGC Vostok, where students collected short biographies and exploits of heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
