The purpose of this holiday is to draw attention to the heritage and cultural achievements of mankind, as well as to popularize the museum business and increase interest in art and history.

This year, the action “Night at the Museum” was organized in honor of the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin. The evening featured a fashion show from the Umodels Modeling Agency of the Orlov Studio. An exhibition entitled “I remember a wonderful moment …” has been opened, which tells about Dostoevsky’s veneration of Pushkin’s name and the poet’s ties with Kazakhstan. The exhibition presents translations of Pushkin’s works into the Kazakh language.

The audience was also shown a thematic exhibition of children’s drawings from the Magic of Color studio called “Territory of the First”, dedicated to the historical events of the region. The exhibition introduces the history of families and the Abai region, which played a significant role in the history of Kazakhstan. It allows to use artistic language to tell about some key events.

As part of the events, a literary and poetic evening “Our World is the Alley of young Roses …” was also held, where students of the tenth grade of Secondary School No. 1, under the guidance of Olga Mikheeva, a teacher of Russian language and literature, talked about how talented masters of art have always been inspired by the world of flowers. The evening featured poems about flowers from various poets. The end of the evening included a concert of classical music by students of the L. Hamidi Children’s Music School No. 1.
