On May 16, 2024, a meeting of the Young Teacher School was held. Topic of the report: “Education based on the final results of learning. Experience in the implementation of IEP in the 1st year on the example of the “Cellular Metabolism” Commitee. The lecturers were Orazalina A.S., Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Raissov T.K. and Maukayeva S.B., Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology and Immunology.

The meeting addressed issues related to approaches to the organization of the educational process at the university, at theoretical and clinical departments. The speakers told the audience about the implementation of the integrated educational program at Semey Medical University, starting from 2019. The young teachers got acquainted with the differences between subject-oriented and competence-based learning, the glossary, the model of horizontal integration in each course and the vertical integration between courses for the development of bachelor’s graduate competencies. As an example, a more detailed consideration of integration was proposed within the framework of the “Cellular Metabolism” Committee (1 course, Medicine). The listeners asked their questions, to which the lecturers gave detailed answers.
