It is well known that participation in conferences gives a student the opportunity to learn about new ideas and approaches to the topics under study, as well as expand their understanding of related fields, gain a deeper understanding of problems, be enriched with new facts and analytics, and be charged with the atmosphere of a professional community. On May 14, 2024, Rashid Dosmambetov, a 1st year student of the specialty “Dentistry” of the Semey Medical University, NCJSC, participated in the intra-university student morphological scientific conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor Zhanybekov Dzhursunkhan Yesenbekovich, where he took an honorable 3rd place. Topic of the report: “On the modification of plaster casts.” Scientific supervisor: Associate Professor Dinzhumanova R.T. of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O., Thus, at the conference, Dosmambaev Rashid had a unique opportunity to directly discuss the results with specialists, hear comments and take them into account when carrying out research work and future publication of these results in scientific journals.
