On 05/18/2024, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, according to the plan of Saturday events in the Houses of students of “SMU” No. 3, held an event on the topic: “Prevention of the use of surfactants.”

Participants: students of 1,3 courses of GM, 1 course of pediatrics.

Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A., Boyaubaev K.K. resident of 1 year of study made a welcoming speech to the students of the 1,3 year of Semey Medical University. In their speech, they highlighted the types of psychoactive substances, the main signs, causes, clinical manifestations, as well as the consequences of use. The prevention of psychoactive substances is extremely important and should be carried out on a regular basis.

The main purpose of the event is to form a healthy lifestyle culture among students, reveal their personal potential, preserve and strengthen the health of students, improve the quality of life, and cultivate moral qualities that influence the formation of an active civic position.

At the end of the meeting, psychological and psychotherapeutic trainings were conducted to increase stress tolerance in everyday life.

The students actively engaged in discussions, held a free-form discussion and asked questions. At the end of the meeting, the students noted that they had gained knowledge about the prevention of psychoactive substances and a positive attitude.
