On 18 May 2024, teachers of the Department of General Education NCJSC “SMU” held an Olympiad in Russian language among foreign students – participants of the “Speaking Club”.

         The aim of the Olympiad was to improve and test the knowledge of foreign students in Russian language both in general language issues and professional vocabulary and terminology. The students were given an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

The participants of the Olympiad answered test questions, performed written tasks on grammar and vocabulary of the Russian language, as well as demonstrated skills of oral communication on professional topics using medical terminology.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the following students won prizes:

1st place Muhammad Ashar 5th year

2nd place Ulmar Khobaib 5th year

2nd place Muhammad Kamran 4th year

3rd place Abdul Basit 4th year

3rd place Prasoon Bainsia 2nd year

3rd place Muhammad Abdul Aban 5th year.

The rest of the participants received certificates.
