On 22 May 2024, the teacher of the department of epidemiology and biostatistics Tukinova Assel Rishatovna held a conversation with the group 429 speciality “General Medicine”, dedicated to the important topic of hygiene education. The purpose of the meeting was to emphasise the importance of observing the rules of personal hygiene and creating a healthy environment to ensure good health and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

During the talk, the supervisor spoke in detail about key aspects of hygiene education, such as regular hand washing with soap and water, observing the rules of drinking, keeping the classrooms clean and tidy, and the need for preventive health check-ups.

Students actively participated in the discussion and asked many questions regarding various aspects of personal hygiene and precautions that can help them maintain their health and well-being. The mentor also provided information on available resources and services that can assist with health and hygiene education issues.

At the conclusion of the talk, the mentor thanked the students for their interest and engagement, and encouraged them to put what they had learnt into practice to create a healthy and safe environment for all members of the educational community.
