In 2024, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sagadat Nurmagambetov, Hero of the Soviet Union, National Hero, First Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, army General, and Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev, who hoisted the Victory flag on the Reichstag (Berlin, Germany), will be celebrated.

May 4,6 2024 Yessentaeva А.М., teacher of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov, held a curatorial meeting for group 1217 and 1220 of the EP “Medicine”, dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

During the curatorial session, materials dedicated to the memory of our great-grandfathers, soldiers and officers who died on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War were presented. The participants of the event got acquainted with the historical facts of the period of the Great Patriotic War and the lives of people in those difficult times. The session was accompanied by presentations. The participants also reviewed brief biographies and exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
