“A good doctor: how to become one?” – lecture for interns of the 6th-7th year

On May 23, 2024, the chief ideologist of the IPSM School of Oncology (Kazakhstan), co-founder of the Higher School of Oncology (Russia), gave a lecture at the NCJSC «Semey Medical University»  Ilya Fomintsev for interns of the 6th and 7th courses on the topic “A good doctor: how to become one?”.

The lecture was attended by the vice-rector for Clinic and Postgraduate Education D.Berikuly, the teaching staff of the Department of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine named after Professor D. R. Musinov, as well as employees of the School of Postgraduate Education, Employment and Career of Graduates.

The lecture was held in an interactive format using the “question-answer” method, using the “Standardized Patient” tool. The prevention, the main methods of diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer and prostate cancer were considered. The lecturer’s noteworthy approach to working with listeners, the use of modern methods of communication with the audience, the use of the interactive presentation system “Mentimeter” – all this became a good dialogue, where interns took an active part and showed interest.
