In the modern world, corruption is one of the most dangerous social phenomena that directly affect the interests of society and the state. The primary task in the fight against corruption is the formation of an anti-corruption worldview and legal awareness.

    In order to form a clear civic position among young people based on anti-corruption, on May 17, 2024, in the assembly hall of the NAO «Semey Medical University», under the guidance of the teaching staff of the military department of the head of the military department, Colonel M.S. Sh.Orynbasarov, the heads of the cycle of reserve Colonel R.Mamykanov, reserve Lieutenant Colonel N.Smailov and reserve Lieutenant Colonel A.Matytsin, a lesson was held with candidates for admission to study at the military department, students of the specialty «General Medicine», «Pediatrics», «Dentistry», «Public health», «Pharmacy», who passed the 2nd stage of selection – a medical examination to determine the degree of suitability for training at the military department.

    During the event, the current anti-corruption legislation was explained to the students and articles on criminal and administrative responsibility, anti-corruption regulations, etc. were brought to the attention.
