In pursuance of the order of the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 252 from 22.04.2024 “On assigning organizations of higher and postgraduate education to the regions and the training of general practitioners” staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenerology and the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases with the support of the clinical department and digital technology department of the Medical University of Semey in the period from 21 to 23 May this year held training seminars for medical workers of medical institutions of the Abay region on the topics «Congo-Crimean fever. Cholera. Anthrax». The training was held in a mixed format. A total of 80 trainees participated.
The opening speech was made by the head of the Department of pediatric infectious diseases, chief freelance infectious disease specialist of children’s region Abay, Candidate of Medical Sciences Efendiyev I.M.
Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenerology, Candidate of Medical Sciences Maukaeva S.B. presented a report on “Congo-Crimean fever” (CCF). The lecturer emphasized the issues of clinic, differential diagnosis, therapy and prevention of this disease.
Assistant of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Candidate of Medical Sciences Mansurova A.A. detailed the issues of relevance, epidemiology, classification, clinical picture, laboratory diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cholera.
Assistant of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Candidate of Medical Sciences Smailov E.S. made a presentation on “Anthrax”, told about epidemiology, clinical symptoms, classification, diagnosis, treatment tactics, preventive measures for anthrax.
In conclusion, the questions of the students were answered by the Head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Efendiyev I.M. In his speech, Imdat Musaevich once again drew the attention of the audience to the relevance of highly dangerous infections at the present time, the need to know the symptoms of CGL, cholera, anthrax, the observance of safety rules when working with patients with symptoms of particularly dangerous infections.
