On May 24, 2024, a lecture with the participation of doctor N.V. Shulzhenko on the topic “Back pain in the practice of a general practitioner” was held at the Department of  GP of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch. This lecture was attended by interns of the 7th-year GP, as well as the head teacher of the 6th-year department, Sh. D Yensibayeva

Back pain is one of the most common pain syndromes that have a significant impact on the ability to work and the quality of life of patients.

It is assumed that in the future, with an increase in the number of concomitant diseases and adverse factors such as obesity, smoking, sedentary lifestyle, as well as due to the aging of the general population, the prevalence of back pain will increase. The problem of relieving back pain is relevant for doctors of various specialties.

        During the lecture, future doctors got acquainted with new modern methods of treating back pain and strengthened their knowledge of neurology. Such lectures will always be relevant.
