The advanced training course “Assessment and examination in a medical university” was completed from 05/13/24 to 05/27/24. The lecturer of the course, Kozhanova Saule Keneskhanovna Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after Professor N.A. Khlopov, interactively introduced students to the definition of assessment methods in accordance with the taxonomy of educational goals and cognitive level according to Bloom’s taxonomy. The indicators of psychometric assessment and statistical processing of assessment results examined in detail; after the lesson, students conducted a detailed analysis of test tasks in their disciplines to identify construction defects, to determine the cognitive level, as well as an analysis of indicators such as difficulty coefficient, discrimination index and frequency analysis. The course also included an analysis of assessment methods in the psychomotor and affective domains.
