History shows that during World War II, millions of Kazakhstanis fought and gave their lives in the fight against German fascism. That is why Victory Day on May 9 is one of the important holidays for the Kazakh people. To commemorate this holiday, on May 16, 2024, a curatorial hour was held, organized by students of group 2312 of the School of Medicine with the participation of Saidakhmetova A.S., Associate Professor of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Nazarova. During the curatorial hour, students emphasized the great importance of this holiday, since May 9 symbolizes the defense of the Motherland and people from enemies. After all, our brave grandparents, showing heroism and courage, died defending their Motherland. The younger generation must always carefully preserve the names of their grandfathers and grandmothers who died for their Motherland.
