On 05/29/2024, within the framework of the concluded memorandum in the field of international cooperation between the Andijan State Medical Institute and Semey Medical University, a seminar was held on the topic: “Diarrhea syndrome in doctor’s practice” online.
The organizers of the seminar were the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology and Immunology of the SMU, NCJCS, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences. Shaimardanov N.K., Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor Smail E.M. and Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Andijan State Medical Institute, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Mirzakarimova D.B., assistant Kasimov U.M. According to the thematic lesson plan, the seminar was attended by students of group 534 of the pediatric faculty of the Andijan State Medical Institute.
The seminar speakers, 1st year infectious disease residents Madrikov K., Saparzhan A., covered the epidemiology, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute intestinal infections. The issues of strategy and tactics for the clinical diagnosis of AEI were discussed in detail. A separate presentation was given on intestinal amebiasis. During the seminar, students showed interest in the topic of the seminar and gained new knowledge.
