05/29/2024 in the “Communication and Resource Center” at the Semey-Hiroshima Polygon Research Center, Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of the “SMU”, PhD Moldagaliev T.M., assistants of the department Ermekbaev A.U., Almagambetova A.A., as well as residents of the department Kakimova A. Sh., Bayanbekova S.B., Boyaubaev K.K., Zeynullaev B.B. held an event on the topic: “Psychological problems of parents raising children with disabilities.” With the active assistance of the curator of the Communication and Resource Center at the Semey-Hiroshima Research Center, Ismagulova A.S. Participants: parents raising children with disabilities. Parents of children with disabilities experience depression, fear, and uncertainty that their children are not socialized. A conversation was held with parents that children are not a burden, they only have special features with which to live, study, and work. The main recommendations for parents of children with ASD (autism spectrum disorders) are given, leading to a more favorable development of the course of the disease.

A mandatory component in the upbringing of a child with ASD is psychological and pedagogical correction, to provide a comfortable environment for communication in learning, to avoid overwork of the child, sensory overload, etc.
