As part of academic mobility under the residency program “Nephrology, adults, pediatric” 05/27 – 05/29/24y. the department of Internal medicine and Rheumatology organized a master class by the visiting professor, vice-president for scientific and educational activities of the public fund “National kidney fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan” – Bagdat Gazizovna Sultanova. Master class participants: nephrology residents of the 1st and 2nd year of study, department staff, nephrologists in Semey city.

In the theoretical part of the training, the professor introduced listeners to the syndromic diagnosis of kidney diseases, the basics of transplantology and the principles of immunosuppressive therapy after kidney transplantation. The theoretical part was supported by analysis of clinical cases and consultations with transplanted patients. Bagdat Gazizovna shared valuable knowledge and experience on the introduction, correction of treatment and prevention of complications in patients with a transplanted kidney. The master class was interesting, nephrology residents acquired new knowledge, nephrologists expanded their knowledge base, and positive feedback was received from students.
