On May 31, 2024, within the framework of the scientific school “Deficient conditions”, the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after Tusupova D.M. in the DRC “Toktamys” held an event in honor of the Children’s Day. Children and their parents were invited to receive free consultations from doctors of various specialties: orthopedic traumatologist, rehabilitologist, pediatrician, neonatologist, nephrologist, cardiologist and nutritionist. Residents in all the above-mentioned specialties also took an active part in this event. 

Under the leadership of the director of the DRC “Toktamys” and the head of the department, Alimbayeva A.R., this holiday was organized, which gave a lot of joy to children.  A festive area and a program with animators were created, which could be attended by any interested parents with children.

We thank the teaching staff of the department, as well as the Department of Traumatology for participating in a wonderful event. This event has become a tradition of holding an open day for the inspection of a multidisciplinary group. In turn, this event gives residents the opportunity to gain additional skills and knowledge that will help them in their medical practice. All parents received clear recommendations from our specialists, as well as received answers to their questions.
